Who is the ISPA?

The Indiana State Poultry Association (ISPA) was established on 1880 at Purdue University, as a membership driven organization to assist the Hoosier poultry industry. Today we work with everyone from the commercial poultry industry to the small flock backyard enthusiast to federal, state and local government representatives to ensure that everyone has the information and tools to keep Indiana's diverse poultry strong and healthy. Our special relationship with Purdue University means that we have access to the many resources at Purdue's College of Agriculture, including their extensive network of Extension Offices in every county in Indiana.

ISPA is overseen by seventeen Member Board, President Rebecca Joniskan, Poultry Health Specialist Chelsie Leatherman, and Federal & State Program Coordinator Jeffrey Deutschman.
